Position Overview
The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor plays a critical role in advancing Elliott Davis's talent strategy by connecting business needs with top talent. This position partners closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders to deliver high-quality talent solutions, build future-ready talent pipelines, and drive exceptional hiring outcomes. The ideal candidate is an experienced, tech-enabled talent professional who combines strong relationship management skills with market expertise, data-driven decision making, and a consultative approach. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, leverages talent intelligence to influence workforce decisions, and champions a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience. Responsibilities
Secure top talent.
Leverage relationship-building skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of Elliott Davis's talent needs to identify, attract, and engage high-caliber active and passive candidates. Develop talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and long-term workforce objectives.
Serve as a Strategic Talent Advisor
Develop a deep understanding of assigned business units, teams, and workforce needs to serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers and leaders. Provide market insights, workforce intelligence, and strategic guidance related to talent availability, competitive trends, organizational growth, and hiring strategies. Proactively map talent pools, anticipate future talent needs, and recommend solutions that strengthen hiring outcomes and business success.
Deliver Exceptional Candidate Experiences.
Create meaningful and differentiated candidate experiences that reflect Elliott Davis's culture, values, and commitment to talent excellence. Drive accountability for quality, responsiveness, and experience throughout the hiring process.
Partner to Deliver Exceptional Hiring Manager Experiences.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR Partners to provide consultation on role design, talent availability, interview best practices, candidate evaluation, and hiring timelines. Develop and execute talent acquisition plans that align with business objectives and serve as a central source of expertise throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Build Knowledge and Share Expertise
Continuously strengthen your understanding of Elliott Davis's business, industry trends, and competitive talent landscape. Participate in professional development opportunities, share best practices, and contribute to the ongoing growth and capability development of the Talent Acquisition team.
Build and Engage Talent Communities to promote our EVP
Utilize social media, professional networks, referral channels, and innovative sourcing strategies to cultivate relationships and develop robust pipelines of active and passive talent.
Prioritize for Impact
Manage multiple complex searches, strategic projects, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously while maintaining a high sense of urgency, accountability, and operational excellence. Focus efforts on activities that create the greatest value for the business.
Leverage Technology and Talent Intelligence
Utilize recruiting technologies, talent intelligence tools, and data insights to inform decision-making, optimize recruiting effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. Maintain accurate candidate and hiring activity within ATS and sourcing platforms
Anticipate Talent Needs and Strengthen PipelinesPartner with business leaders to identify critical talent needs, succession risks, and emerging workforce trends. Develop proactive talent pipelines and market maps that position Elliott Davis to meet current and future talent demands.
Contribute to Strategic Initiatives
Support and lead special projects that advance Talent Acquisition's future-state vision, enhance operational effectiveness, strengthen partnerships across the firm, and drive innovation in recruiting practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
•5+ years of progressive corporate, agency, professional services, or executive recruiting experience supporting a broad range of business functions, including Information Technology, Finance & Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations, and Legal.
•Demonstrated success recruiting high-demand and hard-to-fill talent in competitive markets, including the development of proactive sourcing strategies, passive candidate engagement, and long-term talent pipelines.
- Proven ability to serve as a strategic talent advisor by translating business objectives into effective recruiting strategies, workforce insights, and targeted talent acquisition plans.
- Strong understanding of all phases of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, candidate assessment, interviewing, relationship management, pipeline development, offer negotiation, compensation considerations, labor market intelligence, and employment law compliance.
- Experience developing interview guides and facilitating multiple interview methodologies, including behavioral, competency-based, situational, virtual, and in-person interviews.
- Ability to build credibility and influence hiring decisions through consultative partnership with business leaders, hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience leveraging labor market data, talent analytics, and competitive intelligence to inform hiring strategies and support workforce planning efforts.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and talent acquisition technologies for requisition management, job postings, candidate relationship management, reporting, and process optimization. Workday experience preferred.
- Experience utilizing sourcing platforms, recruiting technologies, and AI-enabled tools to improve recruiting effectiveness, efficiency, and candidate engagement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong emotional intelligence, sound judgment, empathy, and transparency.
- Highly organized with the ability to successfully manage multiple searches, stakeholders, and competing priorities while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
