ABM is hiring a Senior Strategic Sourcer, Skilled Trades to support high-priority and difficult-to-fill hiring skilled trades needs within Manufacturing, Electrical Power Services, Critical Facilities, and Data Centers through advanced sourcing strategy, proactive talent identification, passive candidate outreach, and pipeline development. This role serves as a sourcing subject matter expert and partners closely with recruiters and hiring teams to deliver qualified candidates, talent maps, and market insight for critical roles.
This is a Hybrid Role (in-office Mon-Thu) located at one of the following ABM offices:
- 600 Harrison, San Francisco, CA 94107
- 1150 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015
- 7420 South Kyrene Road, Tempe, AZ 85283
Pay: $90,000–$115,000
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

- Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies for specialized, high-priority, and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Identify, engage, and qualify passive candidates through multiple sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain targeted talent pipelines and talent communities for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with recruiters to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, market challenges, and hiring priorities.
- Conduct market research to identify target companies, talent availability, competitor hiring activity, and geographic considerations.
- Create targeted outreach messaging to improve passive candidate engagement and response rates.
- Partner with Talent Intelligence Analyst and Recruitment Marketing Specialist to provide recruiters with qualified candidate leads, talent market insights, and recommended sourcing approaches.
- Track sourcing activity, candidate conversion, response rates, and pipeline progress.
- Support diversity sourcing efforts through intentional market mapping and inclusive outreach strategies.
- Mentor the Portfolio Sourcers by sharing tools, techniques, search strings, outreach strategies, and best practices.
- Recommend process improvements to strengthen sourcing productivity and candidate quality.
- Serve as a resource for complex searches and specialized sourcing challenges.
- Contribute to sourcing reporting and leadership updates as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience
- Advanced experience sourcing passive talent for hard-to-fill or specialized roles.
- Strong command of LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Boolean search, resume databases, CRM tools, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing platforms.
- Ability to conduct initial candidate qualifications and assess skills, experience, interest, availability, and compensation expectations.
- Strong communication, research, relationship-building, and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches with urgency, quality, and accuracy.
- Experience supporting technical, skilled trades or specialized hiring.
- Ability to lead functional projects or sourcing initiatives with limited guidance.
