Job Purpose/Summary

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for partnering across HR Partner teams and business leaders to develop, implement, and measure the success of our early career strategy and talent pipeline. This role will work alongside the Director of Early Careers to prioritize our campus strategy to feed critical capabilities into the organization, as well as establish meaningful early career rotational programs to grow the talent bench aligned with workforce planning strategy.

This role will directly partner with colleges, universities, and industry partners to maintain ongoing relationships as well as represent the company at recruiting events. This role will serve as a liaison and community partner within the early career space.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create proactive talent pipelining strategies for internships, trainees, and entry-level talent programs to meet current and future skill needs
  • Design and deliver programmatic early career experiences, including summer internship programs, year-round exposure opportunities, and rotational programs
  • Collaboratively work with TA Managers, HR Partners, Hiring Managers, and Talent Management teams to understand future business needs and the skills needed for future growth
  • Serving as a liaison and talent advisor for university level talent and labor market trends and insights
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruitment process, including university, student organization, industry partnerships, etc.
  • Develop project plans, set timelines, and monitor progress to meet recruitment goals
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, support testing and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
  • End-to-end requisition management for internship and entry level hiring
  • Track and analyze recruitment strategies, data, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the company's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Participate in job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities to build pipelines and establish Tyson as the employer of choice. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive recruiting experience required OR 3+ years of recruiting experience with 2+ prior communication, HR, or related experience.
  • Computer skills: Strong computer skills, applicant tracking system experience, strong sourcing capabilities. Workday, LinkedIn, and Indeed experience preferred.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel: Up to 30%, varies significantly by season/semester
