Sweetie Boy Transportation, established in 2010, is a full-service Automobile Transportation and Logistics company. We have an immediate opening for a Senior Recruiter to join our growing team at our Richmond, Virginia office location!
This role will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from initial outreach to final offer, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. The Senior Recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to understand the staffing needs, creating strategic recruitment plans, and utilizing multiple sourcing techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates. Additionally, the Senior Recruiter will manage the recruiting team and create, review and provide metric reporting to the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Full Recruiting Lifecycle: Handle outreach, direct sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer closing and onboarding support
  • Collaborating with Hiring Manager and Leadership: Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements and forward-looking hiring plans
  • Source Talent/Candidates: Build pipeline of candidates using a variety of sources and networking
  • Create, Review and Provide Metric Reporting: Create, review and provide metric reporting to leadership to include, but not limited to, time to fill, offer acceptance, exit survey information and more
  • Management of the Recruiting Team: Managing the existing recruiting team to ensure all processes are followed and providing support where needed
  • Process Improvements: Identify any areas of improvement in the hiring processes and share with leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience at the senior recruiter level with a medium sized company
  • Minimum of 3 years of team management experience
  • Proven track records of successfully filling a variety of positions across different areas of a business
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, strategies, best practices and employment laws and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and accuracy in maintaining candidate records and documentation
  • Proficiency in using candidate tracking systems and software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in conducting both behavioral and competency-based interviews
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time and continue to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate within a team, as well as work independently
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the company and with external partners
  • Stays up-to-date on the industry trends and market conditions

Compensation and Benefits

  • $80,000 top $110,000 salary range
  • Weekly pay and direct deposit

Schedule

  • Full-time on-site schedule in Richmond, VA 23222:
  • Monday - Friday - 8:30AM to 5:00PM
