We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our GrayMatter team and manage the full recruitment life cycle while leading key talent acquisition projects. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to deliver top talent, streamline recruiting operations, and enhance the overall candidate experience. The Senior Recruiter will own full-cycle recruiting from intake to offer and support initiatives such as university recruiting, process optimization, and employer branding efforts.

Location: this is a fully remote position based in the United States.

General Job Duties

  • Own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process for multiple functions across the organization, including intake, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies (e.g., talent mapping, direct outreach, referrals, events) to attract and engage diverse, high-quality candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, develop job postings, and create effective interview and evaluation strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders, providing market insights, hiring recommendations, and process guidance.
  • Manage recruiting projects such as process improvements, and system optimization within the ATS.
  • Optimize and maintain ATS workflows, templates, and data accuracy to ensure an efficient and compliant recruiting process.
  • Track key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness) and share insights with leadership.
  • Support employer branding initiatives, job marketing strategies, and candidate engagement campaigns to promote GrayMatter as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align recruiting strategies with workforce planning and organizational goals.
  • Represent GrayMatter at networking events, university career fairs, and virtual recruiting engagements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (corporate or agency environment)
  • Strong sourcing and closing skills, with proven success recruiting for a range of roles and disciplines
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems (Paycor experience preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Ability to analyze recruiting data and translate insights into action
  • Sense of urgency and ownership of candidate experience from start to finish
  • Available to travel roughly 10% throughout the year

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting in high-growth or technology-driven environments
  • 2+ years recent recruiting experience with industrial technology, manufacturing, or engineering roles
  • Project management or process improvement experience related to recruiting operations

The target annual base compensation for this position is $70,000–$85,000, based on several factors, including with some being relevant qualifications, experience and location.
