The senior recruiter, Emerging Talent, creates and advances inclusive, data-informed recruiting strategies to attract, engage, and hire emerging talent. This role owns full-cycle recruiting across a broad and complex portfolio and leads the strategy, planning, and execution of events and programming designed to deliver an engaging and consistent experience. Acting as a strategic advisor to hiring leaders and HR Business Partners, the sr recruiter builds relationships with educational institutions, student organizations, and other stakeholders while using market insights, participant feedback, and recruiting and program metrics to strengthen talent pipelines, improve processes, and scale emerging-talent programs.

As a senior recruiter, Emerging Talent, you will…

  • Own Emerging Talent recruitment strategy and execution
  • Lead engagement and programming strategy, planning, and execution, inclusive of on-site campus recruiting (up to 10% travel)
  • Apply a high level of strategic thought-partnership and influence; gaining buy-in from key stakeholders and clients
  • Build strategic partnerships internally and externally and use insights to improve outcomes

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5 years experience developing hiring manager capabilities and advising businesses on the most effective hiring strategies
  • 4 years experience recruiting in a high growth, fast-paced environment
  • 3 years experience in a senior-level and complex recruitment environment
  • 3 years experience in university, campus, early-career, internship, or emerging-talent recruiting, including crafting program strategy, stakeholder management, planning meaningful engagement activities, and program evaluation
  • Demonstrated agility and an ability to balance multiple/competing priorities

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
