The Role
We're looking for a Backend Engineer who's passionate about AI and building scalable systems. You'll help develop our core platform features including our AI interview system, resume analysis capabilities, and ATS integrations.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement backend services using Django and Django Ninja
- Build and maintain asynchronous task processing pipelines with Celery and Redis
- Create custom integrations with video platforms and ATS systems
- Contribute to our React frontend for a seamless user experience
- Collaborate closely with our AI team to implement new intelligent features
What You Bring
- Strong Python experience, particularly with Django and Django Ninja
- Experience with asynchronous processing (Celery) and caching (Redis)
- Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time communication protocols
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly DigitalOcean
- Working knowledge of React for frontend contributions
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI technologies and their applications
Bonus Points
- Experience in HR tech or ATS systems
- Background in media streaming or RTMP implementations
- Previous work with natural language processing or AI systems
- Experience with vector databases or embedding systems
