LOCATION: San Diego, CA or Orange, Ca – Hybrid (Monday/Wednesday in office)
SALARY PAY RANGE:The salary range for this position is expected to be between $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for commission compensation based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Search Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle while developing strong relationships with candidates, clients, and prospective clients within the local market. The Search Recruiter will identify and engage qualified talent for direct-hire opportunities, with a focus on technical, mechanical, construction, manufacturing, skilled trades, and other specialized professional positions. In addition to recruiting and candidate delivery, the Search Recruiter will take a proactive, sales-minded approach to identifying new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and growing Eastridge’s presence in the market.
The successful Search Recruiter will be motivated by individual production, relationship development, and the opportunity to build both candidate and client pipelines. This position is ideal for an experienced full-desk/360 recruiter or a proven business development professional interested in expanding into a recruiting-focused role.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting candidates, coordinating interviews, negotiating offers, and closing placements.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for direct-hire positions across technical, mechanical, manufacturing, skilled trades, and related professional disciplines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, existing clients, and prospective clients.
- Conduct thorough client intake conversations to understand position requirements, business needs, organizational structure, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, client outreach, and local market activity.
- Develop new client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand existing accounts and reactivate dormant relationships.
- Market qualified candidates to prospective and existing clients to generate interest, uncover hiring needs, and support account growth.
- Partner with internal sales and recruiting teams to develop client relationships and increase Eastridge’s presence within the local market.
- Conduct ongoing client and candidate quality calls to maintain strong relationships and identify additional opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of active and passive candidates through direct sourcing, referrals, networking, social media, job boards, and other recruiting channels.
- Achieve individual production expectations, including a minimum gross profit target of $21,000 per month/$63,000 per quarter.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate, client, job order, and activity information within company systems.
- Stay informed on local market trends, talent availability, compensation, and competitive activity to provide consultative guidance to candidates and clients.
- Represent Eastridge through client meetings, market visits, networking opportunities, industry events, and other business development activities as needed.
- Deliver a high level of service and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, business development, sales, or a related client-facing role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, influence decision-makers, and deliver a high level of client and candidate service.
- Strong sales mindset with comfort conducting outbound prospecting, developing new relationships, and identifying business opportunities.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches, candidate pipelines, client relationships, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven and comfortable working toward individual production and performance goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating ownership and accountability for individual results.

- Previous agency staffing or search experience.
- Full-desk/360 recruiting experience with responsibility for both recruiting and client development.
- Business development experience within the staffing or professional services industry.
- Experience recruiting for technical, mechanical, manufacturing, skilled trades, construction, or other specialized positions.
- Existing knowledge of the San Diego and/or Southern California business and talent market.
- Experience developing new accounts, expanding existing client relationships, or building a new territory.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
