Recruitment Specialist
Job Summary
The Recruitment Specialist manages full-cycle recruitment across Beacon Behavioral Partners, hiring healthcare providers, clinical and nonclinical roles for our private practices, and corporate professionals for our corporate teams. We are looking for a proactive recruiter who builds pipelines and relationships instead of relying only on incoming applications. This person is comfortable picking up the phone, cold calling prospective candidates, asking for referrals, and following through to move searches forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Partners with hiring managers across corporate teams, private practices, and residential treatment facilities to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and timelines.
- Manage assigned requisitions from intake through offer acceptance, maintaining accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Write and update job postings that clearly describe each role and attract qualified candidates.
- Proactively source candidates through direct outreach, professional networks, referrals, job boards, and other channels.
- Call prospective candidates, including those who have not applied, to introduce opportunities and build relationships.
- Ask candidates, employees, hiring managers, and professional contacts for referrals; maintain pipelines for current and future openings.
- Conduct phone or video screens to assess qualifications, interests, compensation expectations, availability, and fit for the opportunity.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with a clear summary of their experience and screening conversation.
- Coordinate interviews, gather timely feedback, and keep candidates informed of their status and next steps.
- Provide hiring managers with regular updates on search activity, candidate pipelines, obstacles, and hiring progress.
- Identify searches that are not progressing and recommend changes to outreach, sourcing, or the hiring process.
- Partner with HR and People Operations on offers, preemployment requirements, start dates, and the transition to onboarding.
- Track recruiting activity and results, including submissions, interviews, offers, future starts, and time to fill.
- Follow applicable employment requirements and company policies while maintaining complete and accurate recruitment records.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of experience recruiting and working in healthcare recruitment.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging candidates through phone outreach, cold calling, referrals, and relationship building.
- Experience managing multiple openings and moving candidates through the full recruitment process.
- Confidence speaking with clinical professionals and hiring managers about qualifications, opportunities, and hiring needs.
- Strong follow-through, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently with urgency.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and candidate sourcing tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for behavioral health, private practices, residential treatment facilities, or corporate healthcare teams.
- Experience recruiting hard-to-fill provider roles.
What Success Looks Like
You enjoy finding candidates others have not reached. You pick up the phone, start conversations, ask for referrals, and follow up consistently. You build trust with candidates and hiring managers, stay organized across different types of searches, and take ownership of moving each opening toward a hire.
