What You'll Do
As the Recruitment Specialist for the College of Nursing, you will:
- Serve as a primary ambassador for CDU and its nursing programs
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, community colleges, universities, healthcare organizations, and community partners
- Plan and attend recruitment events, college fairs, information sessions, and community outreach activities
- Conduct engaging presentations both virtually and in person
- Develop and execute territory recruitment plans to meet enrollment goals
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process
- Track recruitment activity and pipeline development using CRM systems
- Collaborate with faculty, admissions, marketing, and university leadership to increase awareness of CDU nursing programs
- Identify innovative opportunities to attract and enroll diverse student populations
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends
- Valid California Driver's License and proof of insurance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, healthcare outreach, marketing, or sales
- Experience using CRM systems such as Slate
- Knowledge of nursing education or healthcare professions
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
