Hours: 36 hours per week; Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
As a Recruiting Specialist, you will
- Support all recruiting processes including sourcing, pre-screening, referring, and tracking outreach efforts in our ATS (UKG Ready)
- Consistently update status of candidates in the ATS and use reporting metrics to address gaps; recommend strategies to improve best hiring outcomes
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events, especially with schools and universities
- Actively source candidates from a variety of resources such as LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Create, develop, and expand recruitment networks to ensure highest quality applicants for openings
- Maintain communication with qualified, non-hired candidates for future placements
- Provide excellent customer service to hiring managers, applicants, school representatives, and other recruiting resources
- Collaborate with the Onboarding/Recruiting team to streamline and improve hiring processes

Our Central office is in the Mission Bay area. We provide management support services for all of the mental health programs of Community Research Foundation and PERT, Inc. Our Central Office consists of Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Real Estate and Facilities, Quality Improvement, and Research & Development.

Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Two years of previous high-volume recruiting required; recruiting in a behavioral healthcare field is a plus. Strongly prefer nurse recruiting experience
- Must be computer savvy, including internet searching, social media platforms, Teams virtual platforms, and resume databases. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, especially Word and Excel spreadsheets required
- Experience with applicant tracking systems required; experience with UKG ATS systems highly valued
- Superior written and verbal communication skills required; must be comfortable making presentations and speaking with groups
- Team-centered collaboration and coordination as well as independent work are crucial in this position; strong interpersonal skills are critical
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
- CA Driver license in good standing, reliable transportation and proof of insurance required; traveling to assigned programs within San Diego County is required
- Ability to pass criminal/background clearance
Support the HR Recruiting and Onboarding function by assisting with candidate sourcing and screening. Conduct outreach/prescreening interviews to prospective applicants and provide supports to all hiring managers to facilitate recruitment objectives. Provide support to all hiring managers to fill openings with best possible candidates. Develop strong knowledge and understanding of programs and services provided by each program to facilitate screening and referrals.
