Primary Functions and Responsibilities include
- Review applications and screen candidates for production, maintenance, technical, and support positions.
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Support hiring events, job fairs, open interviews, and other recruiting initiatives.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and accurate recruiting activity within UKG Recruiting Gateway.
- Partner with plant leadership and the HR team to identify staffing priorities and address workforce needs.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including , drug screens, background checks, and required employment paperwork.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of Form I-9 and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate and support new hire orientation, plant tours, and onboarding activities.
- Process candidate dispositions and maintain recruiting records in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
- Track recruiting activity and assist with reporting on applicant flow, interviews, hiring progress, and staffing needs.
- Promote a professional, welcoming, and responsive candidate experience throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting, staffing, human resources, or administrative experience preferred.
- High-volume recruiting experience in a manufacturing, production, or plant environment is preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking or HR systems; UKG Recruiting Gateway and UKG Pro experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of onboarding, Form I-9, and employment documentation requirements is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, follow-through, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
