POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiting Coordinator supports ESS, BSLC and RM PACE hiring managers and leadership by carrying out day-to-day recruiting operations under the direction of the HR Generalist. The position is responsible for high-volume requisitions, including sourcing, screening, and presenting candidates to hiring managers, and coordinates the recruitment process from sourcing to new hire orientation using both traditional and creative non-traditional recruiting methods.

Essential Job Functions
- Coordinates and carries out all phases of the recruitment process, from sourcing to new hire orientation (as needed), under the direction of the HR Generalist.
- Assists the HR Generalist and department managers in drafting detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and sourcing plans based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Posts approved jobs using the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring each posting complies with applicable state job posting laws.
- Utilizes a variety of tools (e.g., email, telephone, social media) to establish relationships and expand the applicant pool, including cold calling qualified leads.
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding new recruitment tools and resources.
- Screens applications and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Schedules telephone, virtual, or in-person interviews and communicates with candidates throughout the hiring process as needed by location.
- Prepares interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the HR Generalist and hiring manager during the offer process, which may include identifying salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details, and obtaining Regional Vice President of Operations (RVPO) approval where required by the business line.
- Assists with pre-employment requirements, background screenings, and onboarding documentation to ensure new-hire processes are completed accurately and timely.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Provides statistical reporting by transforming raw recruiting data into useful reports. Metrics may include time to fill, time to hire, offer acceptance rate, sourcing performance, cost per hire, number of applicants, etc.
- Manages positions in HRIS, including adding, updating, and archiving positions and seats to ensure position data remains current and accurate.
- Attends and participates in college and local job fairs.

Managerial Breadth/Scope of Job
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education & Experience
- At least 1 year of recruiting or Human Resources experience; high-volume, full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Healthcare and non-profit recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience with a Talent Acquisition ATS or HRIS.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek advice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
