What You'll Do: As our Recruiting Consultant, you will apply a consultative approach and strategically partner with field leadership and Home Office enabling partners. This role will develop and execute consistent practices to identify talent, recruit, and onboard Agents across the organization’s 8-state footprint. You will also:
- Engage candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process so they are fully educated on the Agent opportunity. Educate candidates about the company through effective communication skills. Develop and provide features, benefits, and value proposition information to attract best in class talent.
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies that support Agent recruiting.
- Consult and coach field leadership on sourcing, recruiting strategies, and centers of influence development.
- Build collaborative relationships with field leadership, key business leaders, and stakeholders.
- Assist with the development and implementation of sourcing and recruiting processes and best practices used in supporting and training field leadership.
- Facilitate the onboarding process and vendor/candidate relationship through sourcing to contracting stages. Consult on continued development of agent candidate tracking and pipeline management.
- Work cross-functionally to leverage internal communication material and resources to ensure effective and consistent communication for Agent recruiting initiatives.
What It Takes to Join Our Team
- College degree (communications or marketing preferred) or equivalent, plus three (3) years of relevant experience required. Recruiting, communications and/or marketing experience preferred.
- Proven effective relationship and consultative skills – with candidate, hiring managers and key business partners with ability to influence and inform.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills with ability to cold call as well as generate leads through creative social networking.
- Must keep up to date regarding all outside lead generation product sources.
- Project management experience required; budget management experience preferred.
- Must have analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Must be detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Some travel may be required to include overnight stays (less than 20%).
- Ability to work from our Home Office located in West Des Moines, Iowa.
