Position Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual Recruiting Assistant to join our Human Resources team and support our growing talent acquisition efforts. This position will primarily support recruiting for hourly manufacturing and production positions while also helping expand our recruiting reach through community outreach, local partnerships, recruiting events, and Spanish-language candidate engagement.

The ideal candidate is an outgoing, personable, and organized individual who enjoys working with people and is comfortable building relationships both inside and outside of the workplace. Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are strongly required.

Position Summary

The Recruiting Assistant will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to support the day-to-day recruiting process, with a particular focus on high-volume hourly manufacturing positions.

In addition to traditional recruiting responsibilities, this position will help develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and participate in recruiting and employer-branding events. This may include career fairs, community events, sporting events, and other local outreach opportunities.

This is a hands-on and flexible recruiting role that is ideal for someone who enjoys being both in the office and out in the community connecting with potential candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing, production, and other high-volume positions.
  • Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, community outreach, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and pre-screening.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruiting process and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct phone screens and assist with scheduling onsite and virtual interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Follow up with candidates regarding interviews, offers, background checks, pre-employment requirements, and start dates.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate candidate information and activity within the ATS.
  • Help maintain active candidate pipelines for hourly and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Assist with job postings and recruiting advertisements.
  • Provide Spanish-language recruiting outreach and candidate communication when appropriate.
  • Help identify new and creative ways to reach qualified candidates within the local community.
  • Develop relationships with local community organizations, workforce development groups, educational institutions, and other organizations that can help connect the company with prospective candidates.
  • Represent Gwynedd Manufacturing at career fairs, community events, sporting events, and other recruiting activities.
  • Assist with employer-brand awareness initiatives and community-based recruiting efforts.
  • Participate in occasional evening and weekend recruiting events.
  • Distribute company recruiting materials and promotional items at community events.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to develop recruiting strategies for hourly positions.
  • Assist with other Human Resources and Talent Acquisition projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, sales, community outreach, or another people-focused role preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with candidates in both English and Spanish.
  • Outgoing and approachable personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple candidates and recruiting priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and conducting candidate outreach.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting the broader Human Resources team.
  • Previous experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, warehouse, or other hourly positions is a plus.
  • Comfortable representing the company professionally at community events and recruiting functions.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for recruiting events.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local recruiting travel.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Fully onsite position based in North Wales, PA.
  • Primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional evening and weekend availability required for recruiting and community events.
  • Local travel may be required for career fairs, community outreach, recruiting events, and other talent acquisition activities.
  • Position will work in both an office environment and an active manufacturing facility.
  • Must be comfortable standing, walking, and interacting with employees and candidates throughout the facility.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require the following over extended periods of time up to a full 8-hour work shift (excluding lunch and breaks): stand, walk, sit, squat or bend, kneel and rise, lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to — and occasionally exceeding — 50 pounds, view a computer or other digital screen, work on a computer, workstation or comparable system, and make accurate entries in such systems. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are required for detailed assembly and precision work. Work may take place in areas with varying temperatures or no climate control, varying noise levels, and production equipment in motion. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas at all times as required by company policy.
