Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is expanding, and we’re looking for a friendly, energetic
Temporary Recruiter to help us welcome great people to our growing team! If you enjoy connecting with others, keeping things organized, and helping candidates find their next opportunity, we’d love to meet you.
In this role, you’ll partner with our hiring team to support recruitment for our stores and new locations. From that first conversation to coordinating interviews and helping new hires get started, you’ll help create a welcoming candidate experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Connect with candidates through job postings, online applications, recruiting platforms, and community outreach.
- Review resumes and conduct phone screens to learn about candidates’ experience, interests, and availability.
- Coordinate interviews with store leadership and hiring managers.
- Support hiring events, job fairs, and recruitment for new store openings.
- Keep candidates informed and engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and updates in our applicant tracking system.
- Assist with offer communication, onboarding follow-up, and new hire paperwork.
- Bring fresh ideas, a positive attitude, and a helping hand to our busy recruiting team.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required. A strong foundation in communication, organization, and relationship-building will help you connect with candidates and support our growing team.
- Full cycle recruitment experience is a must - Previous recruiting, staffing, or Human Resources experience; retail, grocery, hospitality, or high-volume hiring experience is a plus.
- An approachable personality and a knack for making people feel comfortable.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with candidates by phone, email, virtually and in person.
- Excellent organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage several openings at once.
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems, online job boards, and Microsoft Office. We currently use UKG/Rapid Hire.
- Must be proficient with technology, with working knowledge of MS Office Suite, ATS/HRIS systems, basic knowledge of excel.
- A dependable, flexible approach and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Availability to support a temporary assignment during an exciting period of company growth.
