SRM is seeking a proactive, resourceful Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting across Development, Construction, and Property Management. This hands-on individual contributor partners with hiring managers to understand talent needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, attract qualified candidates, and drive a consistent, high-quality hiring process from intake through onboarding. The Recruiter is also responsible for continuously evaluating and improving SRM’s recruiting processes, tools, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Recruiting and Onboarding

  • Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance, pre-employment, and onboarding coordination, partnering with Hiring Managers on role requirements, sourcing strategies, interviews, and selection
  • Lead intake conversations with Hiring Managers to understand business needs, role requirements, candidate profiles, timelines, and sourcing strategies
  • Develop and execute recruiting and sourcing strategies based on the role, business needs, talent market, and hiring timeline
  • Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs and develop clear, compelling job postings
  • Own recruiting-related pre-employment and onboarding coordination, including background checks, candidate communications, onboarding handoffs, and new hire coordination
  • Deliver a professional and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Guide Hiring Managers on interviewing, candidate evaluation, selection, and established recruiting practices, helping adjust recruiting strategies when hiring results or candidate availability indicate a different approach is needed
  • Maintain and improve interview guides, evaluation tools, templates, and other recruiting resources
  • Partner with the HR Manager on compensation alignment, hiring practices, and recruiting needs
  • Share recruiting trends, candidate feedback, and talent market insights with HR and Hiring Managers to help inform hiring decisions and future talent needs.

Recruiting Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Own the day-to-day execution and effectiveness of SRM's recruiting function, maintaining the processes and tools that are in place while identifying opportunities to simplify, strengthen, and continuously improve how we hire
  • Maintain and continuously improve Paycom’s Applicant Tracking System, recruiting workflows, templates, communications and onboarding processes
  • Track key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance, to monitor hiring progress and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Gather feedback from Hiring Managers, candidates, and new hires to evaluate recruiting effectiveness and improve future hiring processes
  • Identify recurring challenges or inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions that improve recruiting quality, consistency, and speed
  • Manage recruiting platforms, job boards, agency relationships, and other recruiting vendors as needed, evaluating effectiveness and use.

Employer Brand

  • Partner with Marketing on employer branding and recruiting initiatives
  • Maintain relationships with colleges, universities, recruiting partners, and other talent sources
  • Represent SRM at career fairs, recruiting events, and networking opportunities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and compliant hiring practices
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open positions across varying levels and functions
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and other recruiting channels
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting workflows
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with Hiring Managers and effectively guide the hiring process
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Resourceful and solutions-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities and independently drive recruiting process improvements

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience recruiting within construction, real estate development, or property management
  • Experience with Paycom or a similar HRIS/ATS
  • Experience improving recruiting processes, systems, tools, or candidate experience

Physical Demands: This position is an office-based role that will require frequent sitting and computer use.

Travel: 0-10%
