Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Recruiter to join the Terex Corporation Talent Acquisition team and manage hourly hiring for manufacturing facilities. This is a remote position and is part of our TA Center of Excellence (COE). The Recruiter will report to the Manager of Talent Acquisition located in Milwaukee.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent needs and advise on hiring strategies.
- Lead recruiting activities through successful hire, with a strong focus on direct candidate identification and talent sourcing.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and site HR contacts to market open roles, drive engagement across social media, and utilize other common recruiting tools such as employee referrals and job fairs.
- Effectively use recruitment marketing and branding materials to engage and communicate with internal and external talent.
- Deliver an engaging candidate experience throughout the interview, pre-employment, and onboarding processes.
- Leverage your recruiting expertise to challenge and influence stakeholders to drive successful, quality-oriented activities around screening, candidate presentation, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
- Manage and update requisitions through completion, including real-time system updates.
- Identify and escalate risk or compliance issues.
- Attend marketing or industry events, community networking events, and other relationship-building activities as appropriate.
- Proactively identify recruiting process enhancements to ensure a strong candidate pipeline for hourly production hiring.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2 years of experience supporting recruitment within a manufacturing environment.
- This is a remote position. Based on business needs and the manufacturing locations supported, there is a strong preference for the Recruiter to be located in central Florida.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs.
- Experience in full life cycle recruiting.
- Proven ability to effectively manage concurrent hiring needs, priorities, and stakeholders at different stages of the recruitment lifecycle without impacting delivery quality or timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience in business partnering, ideally within an in-house environment.
- Mature, autonomous, and able to work effectively in a less structured environment.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to use recruiting technologies (ATS and CRM systems), direct sourcing tools, and sourcing techniques.
