RECRUITER- PART TIME-SECURITY GUARD COMPANY

Position SummaryWe are looking for an organized, people-focused Part-Time Recruiter to keep a steady pipeline of qualified security officer candidates moving from application to first post. You’ll work closely with HR and Operations to fill open posts quickly while making sure every hire meets licensing and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Post and manage job openings, and screen incoming applicants in our applicant tracking system (Kwantek).
  • Conduct phone screens and schedule in-person interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Verify that candidates hold, or are eligible to obtain, a valid NYS Security Guard License and any required certifications (such as F-01, F-02, or F-80).
  • Coordinate pre-employment steps, including background checks, drug testing, and new-hire paperwork.
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, community organizations, and hiring events.
  • Keep candidate records accurate and up to date, and report weekly on pipeline and hiring activity.
  • Partner with Operations to understand staffing needs and prioritize open posts.
  • Give every candidate a professional, respectful experience that reflects CSP’s values.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of recruiting, staffing, or HR experience, preferably high-volume hiring.
  • Strong communication skills by phone, email, and in person.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing many candidates at once.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to keep candidate information confidential.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Kwantek system is a strong plus.
  • Experience recruiting for the security industry.
  • Familiarity with NYS DCJS security guard licensing requirements.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
