Position Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboard qualified candidates. This position partners with hiring managers to fill positions efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and employment laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for healthcare and support positions.
  • Post job openings and source candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking.
  • Review resumes and applications to ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications.
  • Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Verify licenses, certifications, and credentials for clinical positions.
  • Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements, including AHCA Level 2 screenings when applicable.
  • Prepare offer letters and coordinate new hire onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Attend job fairs and recruiting events to promote the organization.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and candidate pipeline activity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Knowledge of healthcare positions, licensing requirements, and credentialing.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, interviewing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting nurses, respiratory therapists, therapists, technicians, customer service, and other healthcare professionals.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or recruiting certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Occasional travel for recruiting events and job fairs.

Work Environment

  • Office environment with occasional travel to recruitment events. May require flexibility to support hiring events outside normal business hours.
