Job description

Korn Ferry is searching for a Recruiter to join our team who is available to work onsite in Charles City, IA.

As a member of Korn Ferry, the Recruiter will build and extend client relationships through excellence in recruitment process delivery, including sourcing, screening, assessing, and marketing candidates to clients. This role focuses on high-touch candidate relationship management as well as customer focus and responsiveness in client-facing activities. The Recruiter is the subject matter expert around applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing methodologies, and recruitment process effectiveness.

Working as an embedded talent acquisition partner onsite at the client location, the Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and operational leaders to support workforce planning initiatives and deliver recruiting excellence. While partnering daily with client stakeholders, this position remains a member of the Korn Ferry RPO team and reports directly to a Korn Ferry Team Leader.

The Recruiter will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing and recruitment strategies within a rural market, with a focus on attracting talent for entry-level, manufacturing, operations, warehouse, maintenance, and other difficult-to-fill roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand hiring needs, workforce plans, and business priorities.
  • Manages full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offer support, and candidate management.
  • Develops and executes sourcing strategies aligned to client hiring demands and workforce objectives.
  • Builds and maintains talent pipelines for recurring, high-volume, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Identifies and leverages traditional and non-traditional sourcing channels to attract qualified candidates.
  • Conducts market mapping, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence research to support sourcing strategies.
  • Utilizes labor market insights and local market knowledge to identify talent opportunities in a competitive and geographically constrained market.
  • Partners with hiring managers to develop compelling recruitment marketing and candidate attraction strategies.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with active and passive candidates to deliver a positive candidate experience and strengthen talent pipelines.
  • Represents Korn Ferry and the client at job fairs, hiring events, workforce development activities, community outreach initiatives, and educational partnerships.
  • Maintains accurate candidate documentation and activity within applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
  • Tracks and monitors recruiting activity, pipeline health, and sourcing effectiveness against established metrics.
  • Collaborates with recruiters and team members to share best practices, market intelligence, and sourcing strategies.
  • Provides responsive and proactive customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensures compliance with client, Korn Ferry, and applicable employment policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in an RPO, staffing, agency, or corporate recruiting environment.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies, including market mapping, talent pipelining, recruitment strategies, and Boolean search techniques.
  • 3+ years of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience.
  • 3+ years of client-facing experience partnering with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting competency-based and behavioral interviews.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for entry-level, manufacturing, operations, warehouse, logistics, skilled labor, or other difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Strong sourcing, networking, candidate assessment, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Expected compensation range: $38 -$48/HR

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, logistics, distribution, or operations-based recruiting environments.
  • Experience working within an RPO, embedded recruiting, or onsite client support model.
  • Experience recruiting within rural or talent-constrained labor markets.
  • Experience building partnerships with community organizations, workforce development programs, trade schools, or technical colleges.
