We are seeking a Recruiter to join our team in Birmingham, AL. This is an onsite position.

The Altec Service Group supports a network of service centers and mobile service technicians across the United States and Canada. We are seeking a customer-focused recruiting professional who is passionate about identifying and attracting top talent across a variety of service, leadership, and support functions.

The successful candidate will partner closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and operational leaders to support hiring initiatives while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Major Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers, operational leaders, and HR Business Partners to understand workforce planning needs, staffing priorities, team dynamics, and position requirements.
  • Attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open positions through recruiting websites, employee referrals, career fairs, networking, social media, external advertising, search firms, and other sourcing methods.
  • Develop job advertisements and screen resumes/applications.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer presentation, and candidate communication.
  • Take ownership of the recruitment and selection process for assigned openings, ensuring positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
  • Extend offers and negotiate compensation within established guidelines.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professional interactions, and consistent follow-up.
  • Maintain recruiting documentation and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
  • May facilitate orientation for new employees and perform exit interviews for employees leaving the organization.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

A) Bachelor's Degree Required, and 0 Years Applicable Experience

OR

B) High School Diploma/GED Required, and 4 Years Applicable Experience

HR experience Required

AND

C) HR Certification Preferred (SHRM or HRCI)
