OBJECTIVE

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s staffing needs. This role partners closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, coordinate the full cycle hiring process, and ensure a positive experience for all candidates. The Recruiter also supports HR initiatives, helps manage applicant tracking systems, and represents the company at events to promote employer brand awareness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work check-in for ASM events and assist with candidate engagement and event coordination
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop job descriptions, and establish recruiting strategies
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals — with a focus on Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews with hiring teams
  • Coordinate and participate in both in-person and virtual interviews, providing best-practice guidance to managers
  • Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate records
  • Present offers to candidates, negotiate employment terms when necessary, and guide them through the acceptance and onboarding process
  • Partner with HR and department heads to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future staffing needs
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and provide regular reporting to management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and adhere to best hiring practices
  • Provide English-to-Spanish translation support within the office as needed
  • Represent the company at job fairs, recruiting events, and community engagements to promote employer brand awareness

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience preferred
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting and digital sourcing tools
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metrics

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Examples of physical demands include extended periods working at a desk, phone screening, engaging prospective contractors and employees in sales and client management dialogue, and onsite business development activities.

ENVIRONMENT

Office-based position with occasional travel for events or off-site team activities. Regular interaction with employees, leadership, and external vendors.
