Purpose of Position: As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, this position focuses on delivering exceptional recruitment results through proactive client management, strategic sourcing, and a superior candidate experience via an attentive ‘red carpet’ approach. Responsible for finding and identifying the right people who will help Cape Cod Healthcare achieve its mission.

Description

:

  • Develops a deep knowledge of Cape Cod Healthcare’s lines of business, their specific needs and objectives, and their respective competitive landscapes;
  • In partnership with management and other members of the Talent Acquisition team, participates in the development and implementation of organizational recruitment strategies;
  • In collaboration with managers and HR Business Partners, develops marketable job descriptions and candidate profiles;
  • Drives the full lifecycle of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, advising in the selection of final candidates, compensation negotiation, and is responsible for a smooth onboarding process;
  • Guides hiring managers through the recruitment process by maintaining ongoing, proactive communication regarding the status of open positions and candidates; highlights key challenges as well as solutions addressing those challenges;
  • Continuously communicates and reinforces Cape Cod Healthcare’s employment brand and culture, promoting the value proposition and benefits of working for Cape Cod Healthcare;
  • Proactively and aggressively builds a pipeline of qualified candidates and relationships through a wide array of channels, including job fairs, college visits, recruitment agencies, and sourcing of passive candidates through networking, cold-calling, internet searches, social media, and promotion of the Employee Referral Program;
  • Conducts market research to understand where external talent pools exist and works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to explore initiatives to tap into those talent pools;
  • Utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques, screens candidates and provides recommendations regarding applicant consideration and final candidate selection;
  • Continuously refines recruiting and onboarding processes and stays up to date with talent acquisition trends and techniques;
  • Serves as the point of contact for managers on Agency Staff (Traveler, Contract, Temporary, and Permanent), overseeing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding while managing ongoing traveler operations, including timecard verification, auditing, and processing;
  • Collaborates closely with third-party vendors/traveler agencies, acting as the liaison between hiring managers and senior leadership, and provides regular updates on requisition status, assignments, start/end dates, and comps;
  • Works in tandem with departments on the provider onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into CCHC;
  • Monitor and manage the Recruitment general mailbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to all inquiries;
  • Provide cross-coverage and support for fellow recruiters during periods of absence (OOO) or increased hiring volume, fostering a collaborative, team-based approach to recruitment operations;
  • Assists with the onboarding process with other members of the Recruitment team (i.e. preparation of new employee files, new hire onboarding/orientation, etc.);
  • Maintains candidate database, ensuring vacancy information is properly maintained for reporting purposes;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience approved by HR Leadership
  • (Preferred) Minimum of 3 years of HR/Recruitment experience
  • Self-starter with superior work ethic and a defined sense of urgency
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume recruiting environment
  • Ability to deliver results with little supervision and to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Excellent presentation skills and competent in speaking publicly on a regular basis
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail
  • Proficient knowledge in recruitment practices and techniques, and all applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in office systems (i.e., MS Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • (Preferred) Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and related report generation
  • (Preferred) Prior experience employing and leveraging social media, career board, and other online resources to attract and interact with applicants

Schedule Details: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Occasional Evenings, Weekends, & Holidays (Ability to float between Hyannis & Falmouth HR Offices)
