This role supports the goal of building a talented workforce and influencing the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex culture within the external market. This opportunity will lead various recruitment activities in support of generating application flow for hourly positions with a heavy emphasis on all part-time and full-time Hersheypark Entertainment Complex operations.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job)

  • Execute recruitment activities in support of generating leads for part-time volume roles, skilled trades, and full-time positions across the Hersheypark Entertainment Complex.*
  • Lead and attend recruitment events including hiring events, job fairs, presentations, and networking activities.*
  • Assist with the coordination of company-sponsored hiring events and contribute to ongoing employment brand awareness in the local market.*
  • Build and foster relationships with key partners including high schools, trade schools, colleges, community organizations, and student activities and clubs.*
  • Assist with the development of recruitment campaigns for target audiences, create and coordinate implementation of recruitment plans to ensure desired staffing numbers are achieved throughout the year.*
  • Keep up-to-date and informed research regarding recruiting best practices, trends, social media tools, industry standards, and competition. Provide recommendations on new recruitment techniques to reach target audiences.*
  • Develop and share creative recruitment communication to Internal/External stakeholders.*
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team as needed with staffing-related projects, college relations, and other recruitment activities as needed.*
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • - Relevant work experience can be substituted for education - 6 years

Job Demands

  • Recruitment industry experience in the hospitality, travel, and tourism or related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong public speaking skills and ability to deliver presentations to a variety of job seekers at all levels.
  • Strong multi-tasking, planning, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Experience working with various social media tools to drive messaging and branding to candidates a plus.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs and processes.
  • Must embody personal values representative of HE&R Core Values (Devoted to the Legacy, Selfless Spirit of Service, Team Focused, Respectful of Others).
  • High Volume Recruitment experience highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and hands-on experience with external Job Posting sites.

  • This job regularly requires verbal communication of detailed information to others either by phone or in person.
  • Work schedule for this position is dependent upon recruitment event demand to include Monday-Friday, with evenings and weekends as needed. Typical work schedule will require working on-site. This position will be expected to be out of the office attending local recruitment events the majority of the time during high seasons. A company vehicle will be available for recruitment purposes.
