We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in our Fredericksburg office. Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, you will be the driving force behind our staffing initiatives, managing recruitment efforts and job advertising across various media for all positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Screening: Identify staffing requirements, cultivate diverse recruitment channels (e.g., job boards, universities, job fairs, veteran/disability resources), and pre-screen candidates to evaluate their qualifications and fit.
- Candidate Management: Drive the hiring process by presenting viable candidates to hiring managers, participating in the interview and offer process, coordinating pre-employment drug screenings, background and reference checks, and executing all new hire paperwork as needed.
- HR Compliance & Support: Ensure compliance with EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines, new hire orientations, assist with HR training presentations, and adhere to company quality and environmental procedures.
Required Qualifications & Education
- Education: High School Diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment required.
- Core Skills: Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to multitask. Excellent communication and phone skills are required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Work Environment: Regular on-site attendance is required, along with occasional travel.
This is a salary position, with an annual range of $60,000-$70,000, to commensurate with experience.
