Position Title: Provider Recruitment Coordinator

Position Purpose

All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Medical Staff Services on credentialing, privileging, and onboarding timelines
  • Oversee and track onboarding processes for all providers (physicians, APPs, locums), ensuring timely start readiness
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding scheduling, logistics, and next steps
  • Coordinate phone, virtual, and on-site interviews
  • Prepare interview itineraries, welcome materials, and onboarding packets
  • Coordinate all candidate travel and logistics including flights, lodging, transportation, and meals
  • Support locum tenens coordination including scheduling, onboarding, and assignment readiness in coordination with provider recruiter.
  • Assist recruiters in maintaining candidate pipelines and tracking recruitment activity
  • Work with Provider engagement and sourcing Coordinator to ensure professional, timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Track recruitment and onboarding metrics, supporting reporting and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Manager and recruitment team with other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate provider welcome packets and onboarding resources
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of department and organization.

Qualifications

Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:1-3 years of related experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships

Work Requirements

  • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time and traveling several days by car, plane, or public transport
  • Requires a flexible schedule and ability to respond to candidate and attend events after normal business hours.
