We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter who understands the pace, accountability, and relationship management required when supporting a contingent workforce. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, results-driven, and skilled at building lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.
What You’ll Do
- Recruit qualified Registered Nurses and Allied Health Professionals for travel, contract, and PRN assignments.
- Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline through networking, referrals, social media, job boards, cold calling, job fairs, and other sourcing strategies.
- Screen candidates for experience, qualifications, availability, compensation expectations, geographic preferences, and assignment requirements.
- Present appropriate opportunities and clearly communicate job details, pay packages, benefits, expectations, and next steps.
- Negotiate compensation packages while balancing candidate expectations, client requirements, and company margins.
- Guide candidates through submission, interview, offer, credentialing, onboarding, assignment, extension, and redeployment.
- Maintain consistent communication with healthcare professionals and provide dependable support throughout their assignments.
- Take ownership of candidate progress by tracking next steps, following up promptly, escalating barriers, and closing communication loops.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and current candidate, job, activity, and status information in required systems.
- Monitor employee performance and assignment success, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and execute recruiting and marketing initiatives to attract qualified healthcare professionals.
- Stay informed about healthcare staffing trends, market rates, candidate availability, and workforce demand.
- Attend job fairs, conferences, conventions, and networking events.
- Travel occasionally to represent Fidelity On Call.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience recruiting, staffing, coordinating, or directly supporting a contingent workforce is required.
- Candidates must understand the employment cycle for contract, temporary, agency, travel, or per diem professionals.
- Prior office experience is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships and maintain candidate engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and achieve established recruiting goals.
- Confidence discussing compensation, overcoming objections, and closing candidates.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Proficiency with applicant-tracking systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and electronic communication tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous healthcare staffing or clinical recruitment experience.
- Experience recruiting Registered Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, or other healthcare personnel.
- Knowledge of travel healthcare, PRN staffing, credentialing, MSP/VMS programs, and healthcare workforce trends.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in recruitment, human resources, staffing, or sales.
