Security Recruiter

Pay: $23.50 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week to start. We need someone that can start on Tuesday, November 3rd.

Work location: In person in West Hollywood, CA 90038

Valcor Group Inc. is a licensed private patrol operator serving clients throughout Los Angeles, is seeking a Recruiter to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential to convert to a permanent full-time position based on performance and business needs.

This position will report to and work with Human Resources, coordinating closely on hiring needs, candidate screening, onboarding and offboarding. This position will also work with the operations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified candidates for private security positions.
  • Verify BSIS guard card licensing
  • Manage the full OnBoarding process for new hires
  • Conduct inbound and outbound recruiting calls.
  • Complete structured phone and in-person interviews.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with applicants and management.
  • Post and manage job advertisements on Indeed, JazzHR, and related platforms.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting pipelines in the applicant tracking system.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Manage multiple active requisitions and prioritize urgent staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with management to support staffing across multiple client accounts.
  • Assist with Offboarding which includes handing out final paychecks and retrieving company uniforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and online job boards.
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new recruiting technology.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions while maintaining accurate records.
  • Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using JazzHR and Indeed.
  • Recruiting experience in the security industry.
  • Familiarity with security officer roles, staffing, scheduling, or dispatch operations.
