We're looking for a People Operations & Recruiting Specialist to support recruiting and HR administration across our growing family of companies. This role will help us find great people, prepare our teams for busy seasons, and ensure employees receive consistent support from the hiring process through their time with the company.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both working with people and keeping processes organized. Recruiting and seasonal workforce planning are the primary priorities, with ongoing HR coordination throughout the year.

What You'll Do

Recruiting and Hiring

  • Coordinate recruiting for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions.
  • Write job postings, source applicants, review applications, and coordinate interviews.
  • Build relationships with past seasonal employees, employee referral sources, schools, and workforce programs.
  • Support hiring events and seasonal recruiting campaigns.
  • Keep candidates and managers informed throughout the hiring process.

Onboarding and Employee Support

  • Coordinate new-hire paperwork, orientation, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Maintain employee records, job descriptions, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment and employee status changes with our providers.
  • Schedule new-hire check-ins and help managers address emerging concerns.
  • Track assigned training records, certifications, licenses, and HR deadlines.

Organization and Process Improvement

  • Maintain recruiting and workforce reports.
  • Help ensure employee documentation and HR processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention.
  • Work with leadership and managers across multiple affiliated companies.

What We're Looking For

  • Three or more years of recruiting, HR, or workforce coordination experience; equivalent relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience recruiting hourly, field-based, skilled, or seasonal employees is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with different managers and teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, and digital systems.
  • Professional judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel among company locations and attend recruiting events as needed.

What You Can Expect

  • A full-time position supporting multiple growing businesses.
  • The opportunity to help shape recruiting and HR processes as our companies grow.
  • A role that combines relationship-building, recruiting, organization, and employee support.
  • Direct collaboration with company leadership and managers.
  • The opportunity to make a measurable difference in workforce readiness and employee experience.

Compensation: Proposed range of $55,000–$65,000 annually, depending on experience and final position scope.

Benefits: Details to be confirmed based on the approved compensation and benefits package.
