Find great people. Build meaningful connections. Help shape what’s next.
Do you love connecting people with opportunities, building relationships, and finding creative ways to reach great talent? Are you excited to not only recruit, but also build programs and strategies that strengthen our future talent pipeline?
We’re looking for a People & Culture Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting, partner with hiring leaders, connect with talent in our communities, and help build programs that position AAA Central Penn for the future.
What You’ll Get to Do
- Own the recruiting experience. Manage full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening through structured behavioral interviews using the C&E Matrix, offers, and onboarding support, while creating a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with hiring leaders. Understand staffing needs and develop effective strategies for attracting and selecting talent.
- Find talent in new ways. Build proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and future workforce needs.
- Take recruiting beyond the job board. Build relationships with colleges, workforce organizations, professional associations, and community partners while representing AAA Central Penn at recruiting events.
- Build programs that grow talent. Develop and support internship, early-career, college recruiting, and other programs that strengthen talent pipelines.
- Strengthen our employment story. Create engaging job postings and outreach that show candidates why AAA Central Penn is a great place to build a career.
- Recruit smarter. Use recruiting metrics, hiring trends, and source effectiveness to evaluate results and recommend improvements.
- Keep recruiting on track. Maintain accurate records that support organized, consistent, and compliant hiring practices.
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You
- Love building relationships, networking, and connecting people with opportunities.
- Think beyond traditional recruiting and bring fresh ideas for attracting and engaging talent.
- Enjoy building something, whether it’s a talent pipeline, partnership, program, or new recruiting approach.
- Can independently manage multiple priorities while knowing when to collaborate, escalate, or recommend a different approach.
- Are curious, data-minded, organized, adaptable, and always looking for ways to make recruiting better.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- At least three years of progressive talent acquisition, recruiting, or Human Resources experience, including full-cycle recruiting; Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
- Proven experience with sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, talent-pipeline development, and developing or supporting recruiting programs and initiatives.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, sourcing and recruiting technology, Human Resources systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Advanced communication, presentation, networking, relationship-building, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make recommendations based on recruiting needs and results.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and requirements related to recruiting and hiring.
- Experience developing, coordinating, and maintaining internship, early-career, college recruiting, or workforce-development programs and partnerships.
- Ability to travel as needed for recruiting events, career fairs, educational partnerships, and company locations.
Why This Role Matters
Great talent acquisition is about more than filling today’s openings. You’ll help shape how candidates experience AAA Central Penn, connect leaders with the talent they need, and build the programs, relationships, and strategies that strengthen our workforce for the future.
Ready to bring fresh ideas, strong relationships, and a people-first approach to talent acquisition? We’d love to meet you.
