We are seeking a talented individual to join our US Career team, part of the people and investments business at Marsh. This role will be based in Chicago. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Partner, Talent Strategy Consulting leads a unit within our talent consulting business with full P&L accountability, shaping market strategy and driving financial success. You will manage all aspects of unit finances, ensure profitable client relationships, and define the long-term business strategy at the market level in alignment with global and regional priorities. This is a leadership role where you will direct large, complex client engagements, drive revenue generation, and develop a high-performing team of consulting professionals.
We will count on you to
- Lead and manage all aspects of unit finances, including budgeting, staffing, and strategy, while contributing to the financial success of the business and market overall.
- Manage client revenue levels and profitability by ensuring strong client relationships are formed, maintained, and extended through cross-selling and new client acquisition.
- Thrive and be motivated by an environment that embraces AI and technology-enabled tools.
- Define and implement long-term business strategy at the market level, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategic priorities while providing clear direction and accountability.
- Lead key client engagements and large, complex projects by directing project teams, developing strategic solutions that address client needs, and managing overall service delivery.
- Hire, manage, develop, and evaluate a team of professionals by providing effective performance feedback, fostering career development, and driving engagement through frequent communication and dialogue.
- Generate revenue through acquisition of new clients, cross-selling to current clients, and extending current client engagements while establishing and maintaining market contacts with financial and HR executives and C-suite members.
What you need to have
- Proven track record in a leadership or partner-level role within management consulting, talent consulting, or professional services, demonstrating P&L management and business development success.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage complex financial metrics, drive profitability, and balance growth with sustainable margin management.
- Excellent people leadership skills with experience building, developing, and motivating high-performing consulting teams in a collaborative environment.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $240,000 to $360,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
