Pay + Schedule

  • Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour

Position Summary

  • PFP Logistics is seeking a motivated and organized Part-Time Savannah Area Recruiter/Admin to support our recruiting efforts and provide administrative support to our operations team.
  • This role will assist with sourcing and hiring qualified candidates while also helping with various administrative and payroll-related tasks to support our Site Managers and employees.
  • The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to balance recruiting responsibilities with day-to-day administrative needs in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Recruiting Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, candidate outreach, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and Site Managers to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment databases.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring required hiring documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Represent PFP Logistics at job fairs, hiring events, and other recruiting/networking opportunities as needed.
  • Help develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide a positive candidate experience.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks and special projects as needed to support the PFP Logistics team.
  • Assist with inputting and maintaining labor logs and other operational records.
  • Assist with payroll data entry and review payroll information for accuracy prior to processing.
  • Complete and process Income Withholding Orders (IWOs), garnishments, and other employee-related paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to and assist with various employee documentation and administrative requests.
  • Provide administrative support to Site Managers, including preparing documents, organizing information, entering data, and assisting with other site-specific administrative needs.
  • Maintain organized and accurate employee and operational records.
  • Assist with tracking employee information, attendance, and other records as needed.
  • Handle sensitive employee and company information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Support management with additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office administration, recruiting, human resources, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with HR, payroll, or recruiting software preferred (ATS experience, such as RipplingHR or Indeed, is a plus).
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Professional, dependable, and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience supporting warehouse, logistics, or hourly workforce operations is a plus.

Education + Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, office administration, payroll support, or a related role preferred.
  • Experience working with hourly employees or in a warehouse/logistics environment is a plus.
