About the Role

Auzmer Research is seeking a friendly, motivated, and organized Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) to support our patient recruitment efforts for ongoing clinical trials. This role is ideal for individuals with previous experience as a Medical Assistant, Medical Scribe, or in a similar clinical healthcare setting who are interested in expanding their experience in clinical research.
The primary focus of this position will be contacting potential participants, discussing clinical trial opportunities, reviewing medical histories, and assisting with the patient prescreening process to help determine potential study eligibility.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with patients, familiar with medical terminology, and able to accurately document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a clinical background who are interested in transitioning into clinical research or gaining experience in clinical trial operations and patient recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to recruit and screen potential research participants
- Maintain accurate records of candidate and participant interactions in the database
- Schedule and confirm appointments for research studies and focus groups
- Follow recruitment scripts and screening criteria to qualify participants
- Meet daily and weekly recruitment quotas and call volume targets
- Provide a professional and friendly experience for all prospective participants
- Coordinate with internal research teams to ensure participant needs are met
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in telemarketing, call center, recruiting, or customer service preferred
- Interest in healthcare or clinical research is preferred
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and handling rejections professionally
- Proficient with basic computer applications and data entry
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Availability to work part-time hours in Lakeland, FL
