We are seeking an experienced MSL Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment for Medical Affairs positions, with a primary focus on Medical Science Liaison (MSL) hiring. This role will partner closely with hiring managers, talent acquisition leaders, and business stakeholders to develop and execute recruiting strategies that attract high-caliber scientific talent across multiple therapeutic areas.

The successful candidate will possess strong sourcing expertise, experience engaging scientifically trained professionals, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for field based Medical Affairs positions, including MSLs, Senior MSLs and MSL Managers.
  • Conduct intake meetings to understand hiring needs, candidate profiles, and market dynamics.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS databases, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of scientific and medical talent across various therapeutic areas.
  • Screen and assess candidates for scientific expertise, communication skills, field medical experience, and organizational fit.
  • Manage candidate screening, interview coordination, and hiring manager and candidate relationships
  • Partner with hiring leaders to provide market intelligence, talent mapping, and competitive insights.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity within ATS and ensure compliance with hiring processes and documentation requirements.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Prior experience recruiting MSLs or other field-based Medical Affairs professionals
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or healthcare environments.
  • Strong sourcing and talent identification skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative skills.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $35/hr. to $40/hr.. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
