The Ministry Recruiter is a key member of the archdiocesan spiritual renewal efforts. This role embeds in the Office for Parish Renewal, but reports into the Department of Human Resources. The Ministry Recruiter provides dedicated support to identify, recruit, and accompany prospective renewal and ministry roles through the application process. This role owns the full recruitment lifecycle – event strategy, campus and conference outreach, and onboarding coordination, building lasting partnerships with mission-aligned institutions and networks.
Responsibilities
- Manages the schedule of recruitment events at targeted colleges and conferences
- Creates and manages list of recruitment events in collaboration with DPVM leadership
- Coordinates the schedule of events and connects with relevant office members for staffing
- Attends the majority of campus and conference visits
- Manages relationships with contacts and prospective employees
- Manages relationships with conferences and school leadership for pipeline development
- Oversees recruitment journey from first contact to first day.
- Provides initial onboarding support in collaboration with office leadership
Requirements (Education, experience, skill sets, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of ministry and/or recruitment experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
Preferred (Education, experience, skill sets, etc.)
- Work experience in evangelization, adult discipleship, or the work of parish renewal
- Work experience in ministry recruitment or Catholic theological education recruitment
- Spanish language competency

This position has a salary range of $66,845 - $83,594. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
