About the Job
Reporting to the Manager of People & Culture, the Recruiting Manager will oversee full-cycle recruitment activities, including job description creation, posting, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, strong selling and analytical skills, and the ability to travel between office locations, campuses, and job fair recruitment events. Experience in large hotel operations or proficiency with ADP (HRIS software) is highly preferred.
What You Do
- Develop and refine job descriptions to align with organizational needs and attract top talent.
- Source, screen, qualify, schedule interviews, and negotiate offers for skilled and diverse candidates.
- Implement effective sourcing strategies and innovative recruiting initiatives to optimize applicant traffic and ensure timely and cost-effective hiring.
- Collaborate with company leadership to understand recruitment needs and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, local schools, and other recruitment sources.
- Stay updated on latest recruiting tools and trends, leveraging social media and candidate retention strategies.
- Monitor company initiatives to anticipate and plan future recruitment needs.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with hiring managers to assess recruitment process effectiveness.
- Conduct candidate interviews, perform reference and background checks, and manage paperless recruiting operations using ADP recruitment platform.
- Ensure requisitions are filled efficiently with service-oriented, top-tier candidates.
- Streamline recruiting processes to minimize time from requisition approval to start date.
- Manage the ADP Applicant Tracking System and other recruitment strategy tools as assigned.
- Provide leadership and guidance in resolving complex recruiting challenges.
- Utilize knowledge of company benefits to attract and influence talented candidates.
- Plan, organize, and participate in college and local hiring events, both in-person and virtually.
- Assist in developing and executing internship and job shadowing programs company-wide.
- Provide detailed weekly reporting on status of open requisitions.
- Promote and support the company’s Employee Referral Bonus program.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and new hire training processes.
- Maintain organizational charts and assist with other People & Culture disciplines as needed.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Prior experience in hospitality recruitment is highly desirable.
- Experience with ADP (HRIS software) and large hotel operations preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Internet applications.
- Strong market analysis and negotiation skills, with ability to advise candidates on compensation and benefits.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Haitian Creole or Spanish is a plus.
- Team player with collaborative work style.
- Availability to work in-office Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with flexibility to respond to inquiries and tasks outside regular office hours.
