Key Responsibilities
- Training and Course Coordination;
- Coordination of the Competency Baseline and Compliance for Marine Crew;
- Maintain all training documentation in crewing system and proactively follow structured process to ensure compliance of crew;
- Coordination of general administrative tasks in regards to systems updates and communication;
- Plan and coordinate co-ordinate internal courses;
- Arrange travel and logistics as required;
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for marine crew in partnership with Senior Crew Coordinator; Regional Crewing Manager, Operations Managers and Vessel Managers;
- Coordinate cadets together with Senior Crew Coordinator;
- Represent DOF at school visits, fairs and industry events;
- Addition of employee profiles to company crewing system.
Requirements
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Industry relevant experience / relevant education (or equivalent experience);
- Experience in compliance and training within offshore industry
- Strategic thinker but not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get work done;
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced and constantly changing organization with strict deadlines;
- Knowledge of offshore operations would be preferred, but not critical for the position;
- Exceptional team member and lead by example with a focus on developing others and yourself;
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times;
- Organization and time management skills are essential;
- Advanced ability with Microsoft Office products.
