We’re hiring a Leadership Talent Sourcer at Hueman People Solutions. This position is dedicated to a client account, building the candidate pipelines behind every leadership search across the health system as part of Hueman’s recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) partnership.

The ideal candidate for the Leadership Talent Sourcer at Hueman People Solutions will be a curious, persistent researcher who is comfortable engaging senior professionals and wants a defined path into executive recruitment, not a permanent sourcing seat. You will start by finding and engaging passive leaders for the client's most critical searches, building talent pools, and strengthening reach into organizations that serve diverse leaders. The path would be for you to grow into a full Executive Recruiter over roughly 18–24 months, first owning junior-level leadership requisitions and then executive searches with mentorship from a senior member of the team, with progression based on performance, readiness, and business needs.

The leadership recruitment team works at the highest level of talent acquisition, recruiting leaders across the health system and a wide range of specialties. Every search begins with deep research into the role, the department’s culture, and its day-to-day environment, and is grounded in the client's Mission, Vision & Values. We run a white-glove process for candidates and hiring leaders alike, take active steps to reduce bias and build diverse slates, and never settle for organic applicant flow: we target talent nationally and pipeline it ahead of need.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a complete set of talent pools
  • Use weekly leadership recruitment meetings to track active and upcoming requisitions and prioritize pipeline work
  • For critical searches, identify “stop the search” candidates through talent pools, Oracle Cloud Recruiting, LinkedIn, web research, conference speaker and attendee lists, and industry awards
  • Hold career conversations with passive candidates to learn what it would take for them to move, including compensation, schedule flexibility, and benefits. Maintain regular touch-bases and connect strong fits with the recruiter leading the search
  • Keep candidate profiles and conversation notes current and tagged in Oracle Cloud Recruiting so the team can search them easily
  • For each active search, identify at least three organizations serving underrepresented groups and learn how to reach their members. Own these relationships when asked, and share a monthly overview of organizations worth joining or supporting
  • Partner with recruiters and the marketing team on campaigns for open roles, gathering content from hiring departments such as hiring manager videos, team member quotes, and department photos
  • As you progress, lead intake meetings with hiring leaders and search committees and present diverse slates with in-depth analysis. Coordinate interviews with structured feedback that limits unconscious bias, and keep stakeholders informed through regular updates
  • Facilitate offer decisions with Compensation and HR leadership, communicate candidate and search risks proactively, and complete weekly partnership reporting

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years in recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, HR, or a related client-facing role
  • Experience sourcing leadership or professional-level candidates, ideally in healthcare or academic medicine, preferred

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Persistence and curiosity in research, with a drive to look past the obvious candidates
  • Comfort with cold outreach and substantive career conversations with senior professionals
  • Strong organization and follow-through, including accurate record-keeping in an ATS or CRM
  • Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Genuine commitment to equitable hiring and building diverse candidate slates
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite products; familiarity with Oracle Cloud Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred
  • Advanced sourcing skills such as Boolean search, and experience creating recruitment marketing or social media content, preferred

Development Pathway

You move to each new stage when you meet its readiness gate, not on a fixed date. Timing is a guide, and progress is reviewed with your leader and mentor at each gate.

  • Sourcing foundations (months 0–6): Build talent pools, pipeline critical searches, and engage organizations serving diverse leaders. Readiness gate: sourced candidates regularly reach search committee slates
  • Junior searches (months 6–12): Lead one or two junior-level leadership requisitions, with your mentor joining intake meetings, while keeping pipelines active. Readiness gate: one or two junior searches filled
  • Executive searches (months 12–24): Co-lead, then lead, executive searches and take on hiring leader relationships, with warm handoffs from your mentor

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to the client site, conferences, and recruiting events as business needs require.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Candidates hired for this position must pass onboarding and credentialing requirements established by Hueman and the client.

Applicants requiring a reasonable accommodation to participate in the hiring process may contact recruitment@hueman.com
