Your Role

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, and as a member of a dynamic HR team, you will play a key role in attracting and hiring the talent that drives Novatech’s growth.

In a multi-site manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for recruiting a wide range of positions, both in plant operations (production, maintenance, logistics) and office functions (administration, sales, engineering, management). Working closely with managers and HR Business Partners, you will develop effective recruitment strategies while ensuring the continuous improvement and optimization of recruitment tools, processes, and the candidate experience.

The ideal candidate is recognized for their ability to manage multiple recruitment mandates simultaneously across Canada and the United States, build strong relationships with business partners, and identify innovative solutions in an ever-evolving labour market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying hiring needs and posting positions through to final candidate selection, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent for a variety of manufacturing and corporate roles.
  • Conduct proactive candidate sourcing across multiple platforms and build talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.
  • Partner closely with managers and HR Business Partners to understand business challenges, define candidate profiles, and recommend top talent.
  • Conduct interviews and support managers in the decision-making process.
  • Serve as an employer brand ambassador and propose creative initiatives to increase Novatech’s visibility and position the company as an employer of choice among prospective candidates.
  • Participate in recruitment events, networking activities, educational partnerships, and employer branding initiatives to support talent attraction and promote Novatech.
  • Ensure the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and effective management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including data quality, process improvements, and adoption of best practices.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare dashboards, and recommend continuous improvement actions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of talent acquisition practices, tools, and processes.
  • Stay informed on labour market trends, analyze competitor practices, and recommend attraction strategies tailored to the realities of different regions and industries.

What We Are Looking For

  • University degree in a related field and 5 to 7 years of experience in talent acquisition. Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment is considered an asset.
  • Strong experience in sourcing and recruiting a wide variety of profiles.
  • Proven ability to develop initiatives that strengthen employer branding and enhance Novatech’s visibility in the job market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to positively influence managers and develop strong partnerships. Demonstrated leadership, proactivity, and strong customer focus.
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bilingualism: English proficiency is required for this position due to frequent verbal and written communications with our teams in the United States and Ontario. Following an assessment of the role, these responsibilities cannot be reassigned within the team.
