Lateral Partner Recruitment Assistant
Support Strategic Lateral Recruiting.

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented Lateral Partner Recruitment Assistant to support the firm’s Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategic Lateral Growth and working closely with the Senior Director of Strategic Lateral Growth & Integration and Lateral Partner Recruitment Coordinators, this role provides critical administrative and operational support throughout the lateral partner recruitment process.
This position serves as an organizational cornerstone for the team—coordinating complex schedules, maintaining accurate candidate information, facilitating timely communications, and helping deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support the lateral partner recruiting lifecycle, including candidate submissions, tracking, correspondence, interviews, and recruiting logistics.
- Coordinate high-volume virtual and in-person interviews, partner availability, schedules, and interview evaluations.
- Maintain accurate candidate files, applicant tracking systems, calendars, and recruiting records.
- Communicate professionally with candidates, search firms, partners, firm leadership, and internal stakeholders.
- Exercise sound judgment when managing confidential information and sensitive candidate matters.
- Support team meetings, special projects, and provide backup coverage for Recruiting Coordinators.
What You’ll Bring
- At least one year of recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, executive support, or comparable administrative experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in legal recruiting, law firm, or professional services environments.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems, OneNote, or ViRecruit.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

This position may be filled in the following locations. The listed compensation range reflects the typical pay for this role, though it is rare for new hires to receive an offer at the top of the range. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
San Francisco Bay Area compensation range: $80,040 to $117,130 annually
Los Angeles compensation range: $73,030 to $0106,870 annually
San Diego compensation range: $72,100 to $105,510 annually
Washington state compensation range: $66,150 to $96,800 annually
