Junior Recruiter
King Risk Partners is one of the fastest-growing independent brokers in the country, and every new office, producer, and service team we add depends on hiring the right people. As our Junior Recruiter, entry-level producers, account managers, and professionals who protect families, homeowners, and businesses. This is a hands-on role where your work visibly drives our growth, and you'll get the training and coaching to build a long-term recruiting career.
What You'll Accomplish
- Get up to speed in 30 days: Learn our lines of business (personal, commercial, benefits, and specialty), our core roles, and our ATS/CRM.
- Build pipelines before roles open: Source and phone-screen 20+ candidates per week through job boards, referrals, and industry networks. Keep a warm bench of licensed P&C and Life & Health talent for our highest-volume roles.
- Fill roles faster: Help cut average time-to-fill to under 45 days by coordinating interviews within 48 hours of hiring manager approval and keeping candidates moving at every stage.
- Deliver hires who stay: Screen for job requirements, and culture fit.
- Create a great candidate experience: Give every candidate a clear update within two business days, and write postings that show why people build careers here.
- Hand off new hires smoothly: Work with HR and office leaders on offers, background checks, and licensing requirements so new hires start ready to succeed.
Your Environment & Resources
- You'll report to our HR and Talent Acquisition leadership and get regular one-on-one coaching.
- You'll partner directly with agency principals, sales leaders, and service managers across multiple offices.
- You'll use our applicant tracking system, job boards, and shared reporting dashboards.
- You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative team that values ownership, responsiveness, and follow-through.
What You Bring
- At least one year of experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, sales, or a high-volume customer-facing role.
- Strong phone presence and clear writing. You can engage passive candidates and represent our brand professionally.
- Excellent organization. You can manage many candidates and deadlines at once without dropping details.
- Comfort with technology, or the ability to learn an ATS and sourcing tools quickly.
- Curiosity about insurance careers and licensing. Industry experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- A bachelor's degree in HR, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Why You'll Love This Role
- Growth you can see: Our rapid expansion means real hiring volume and fast skill-building.
- A clear career path: Strong performers can advance to broader talent roles as we scale.
- Stability with momentum: You'll join a firm with decades of industry expertise in a resilient, essential industry.
- Real influence: You'll work directly with leaders and shape how teams in multiple states are built.
