General Purpose
The Junior Recruiter is responsible for supporting the organization's recruiting efforts by assisting with candidate sourcing, applicant screening, interview coordination, and recruiting administration. Under the direction of the Corporate Recruiting Supervisor, this position helps maintain candidate pipelines, supports open requisitions, and ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
The Junior Recruiter will proactively identify and engage talent for all company locations, which may include recruiting activities for domestic and international positions as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting activities for positions across Sales, Service, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Administrative, Accounting, Engineering, and other assigned departments.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, networking, databases, and other recruiting channels.
- Review resumes and applications to identify candidates meeting minimum job qualifications.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screenings to assess qualifications, interest, and availability.
- Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, coordinating calendars and logistics as needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting platforms.
- Assist with posting and managing job advertisements on platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed, Google, Facebook, and other approved recruiting sources.
- Support candidate communications throughout the recruiting process, ensuring timely follow-up and professional experience.
- Generate candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Assist with employment verifications, reference checks, and candidate documentation when required.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of offer letters and onboarding documentation.
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, job fairs, and networking activities.
- Help maintain recruiting templates, interview guides, and hiring documentation.
- Conduct market research regarding talent availability, sourcing methods, and recruiting trends.
- Support recruiting process improvement initiatives and department projects.
- Perform other recruiting and administrative duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, 5 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, administrative support, or related experience preferred.
- Previous experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, internship programs, or HR functions is a plus.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruiting tools, or HRIS platforms preferred.
- Strong interest and commitment in developing a career in recruiting and talent acquisition.

Physical Demands/Requirements
- The position requires sitting or standing for a prolonged period
- May need to carry or lift things during day-to-day operations not to exceed 40lbs.
Work Environment
- Perform job duties primarily in an office environment, warehouse, or even offsite at networking events and/or career fairs
- Occasional, local, domestic and potentially international travel required up to 10%
