Position: Internal Staffing & Recruiting Professional

Pay: $40K-$50K – Based on Experience, plus bonus structure
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Benefits: Full benefits available after 90 days of employment
Location: Primarily our South Huntsville office, with work at our Decatur office as requested

About the Position

Vervic Human Capital Solutions is seeking a proactive, organized, and people-focused Internal Recruiter to help connect qualified candidates with employment opportunities. This position primarily recruits for temporary-to-hire roles in production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, and other industries based on client needs. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, takes initiative to find talent, and can manage multiple openings while providing a positive experience for candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, community partnerships, and direct outreach.
  • Create and maintain job postings and manage candidate responses.
  • Conduct phone screenings and face-to-face interviews to evaluate qualifications, availability, and job fit.
  • Attend job fairs and recruiting events to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and administer pre-employment drug screens according to company procedures.
  • Complete onboarding paperwork and perform E-Verify employment eligibility verification according to established procedures.
  • Match candidates with appropriate assignments and coordinate interviews, placements, and start dates.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the company’s applicant tracking system.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates, employees, clients, and internal team members regarding hiring needs and placement progress.
  • Meet established recruiting, placement, and other performance goals that support monthly bonus eligibility.
  • Support recruiting efforts at the Decatur office when requested.
  • Assist with executive recruitment opportunities as assigned, with the potential to earn additional income.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced staffing environment.
  • A proactive approach to recruiting and a commitment to meeting performance goals.
  • Comfort using job boards, recruiting software, email, and standard office applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and at either office as requested.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of previous recruiting or staffing experience required, particularly in production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
