Teknor Apex is seeking a creative, organized, and data-driven Recruitment Marketing Intern / Co-op to help strengthen our employment brand and attract top talent across manufacturing, engineering, commercial, corporate, and early career hiring. This role offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition, employer branding, digital marketing, social media, content creation, and recruitment analytics.

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and Sr. Brand Manager, the intern will create engaging content, produce recruitment marketing videos from existing company footage, support recruitment campaigns, coordinate events, and help promote Teknor Apex as an employer of choice – tying efforts into larger brand content strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or Digital Media who wants to build experience at the intersection of recruiting and marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Develop on brand engaging content for recruitment marketing campaigns, including social media posts, employee spotlights, videos, graphics, and job advertisements.
  • Create engaging recruitment marketing videos using existing company footage, employee interviews, project videos, and event content to showcase Teknor Apex's culture, career opportunities, and employee experience across digital platforms.
  • Edit and produce short-form and long-form video content for LinkedIn, career sites, university recruiting, digital displays, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Within the brand strategy and framework, help maintain and enhance Teknor Apex's employer brand across LinkedIn, Handshake, university career sites, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Assist with planning and executing campus recruiting events, career fairs, internships, co-op programs, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Create marketing materials including brochures, presentations, digital signage, email campaigns, and promotional items.
  • Interview employees and develop "day in the life," career path, and employee success stories.
  • Support recruitment advertising campaigns and track campaign effectiveness across multiple sourcing channels.
  • Assist with photography and video production highlighting company culture, manufacturing facilities, community involvement, and career opportunities.
  • Organize and maintain a digital library of recruitment marketing photos, videos, and creative assets for future campaigns.
  • Analyze recruiting metrics including application volume, source effectiveness, social media engagement, website traffic, and campaign performance.
  • Research competitor employer branding strategies and identify opportunities to improve candidate attraction.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent employer branding throughout the year.
  • Assist with internship, rotational, and early career program marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create targeted recruitment campaigns.
  • Support internal communications that promote employee engagement, referrals, career development, and internal mobility.
  • Help organize recruiting events, open houses, plant tours, and hiring events.
  • Perform other Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Marketing projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business, Digital Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content.
  • Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools preferred.
  • Experience editing video using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar software preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform existing video footage into engaging digital content for social media, presentations, or marketing campaigns.
  • Basic knowledge of social media marketing and digital communications.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable interacting with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in using data to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Photography, videography, or video editing experience is a plus.
  • Interest in employer branding, recruiting, marketing, or human resources.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
