Job Description
The Recruiter is responsible for supporting ICONA Resorts’ recruitment and hiring needs across the organization. This position manages job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, recruitment activities, electronic hiring process, new-hire orientation, HRIS hiring transactions, and payroll processing.
The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers and the Human Resources team to ensure positions are filled efficiently and that candidates and new team members receive a professional, organized, and consistent experience throughout the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process.

- Manage recruitment activities for seasonal, full-time, part-time, internship, and other assigned positions across ICONA Resorts.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, qualifications, and anticipated hiring timelines.
- Create, post, update, and maintain all assigned job openings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring postings are accurate, current, and consistent with approved job descriptions.
- Monitor applicant activity within the ATS, review applications, identify qualified candidates, and coordinate candidate communication and interviews.
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the candidate selection and offer process.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records within the ATS and ensure candidates are moved through the appropriate stages of the recruitment process in a timely manner.
- Execute the electronic hiring and onboarding process for new and returning team members, including initiating required documentation, monitoring completion, following up on outstanding requirements, and ensuring all required steps are completed prior to employment.
- Regularly evaluate the electronic hiring and onboarding process and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, consistency, and the candidate and new-hire experience.
- Hire new and returning team members into the HRIS/payroll system, ensuring employment information, position, department, location, rate of pay, and other required information are entered accurately and timely.
- Organize, schedule, coordinate, and present in-person new hire orientations, with primary responsibility for orientations at two designated ICONA locations.
- Ensure team members attending orientation have completed the required electronic onboarding documentation and hiring requirements.
- Deliver orientation information in a professional and engaging manner and ensure new team members receive consistent information regarding ICONA policies, procedures, expectations, culture, and employment practices.
- Coordinate with property leadership and Human Resources regarding orientation schedules, anticipated hiring volume, new hire attendance, and outstanding onboarding requirements.
- Set up and process payroll as assigned, including reviewing payroll information for accuracy, identifying discrepancies, making appropriate corrections, and ensuring payroll is processed in accordance with established deadlines and procedures.
- Develop a working knowledge of ICONA's payroll processes and serve as a backup payroll resource for the Human Resources department.
- Support recruitment of J-1 Visa students, seasonal team members, interns, and year-round team members as assigned.
- Organize, schedule, and attend recruitment events, including college career fairs, community job fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, community organizations, employment resources, and other recruiting partners to support ICONA's talent needs.
- Assist with internship recruitment and other talent initiatives designed to develop candidate pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
- Ensure recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation, HRIS, and payroll activities are completed in compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate and team member information and exercise appropriate discretion when handling employment and payroll information.
- Work collaboratively with the Human Resources team and provide additional departmental support as needed.
- Weekly attendance to Aloha Culture meeting.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position operates in both an office and hotel/resort environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and related technology. The position requires regular interaction with candidates, new hires, team members, managers, and property leadership.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This role requires forty plus hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Travel
There is less than 20% of travel.
Education Experience
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field is required.
- Human Resources and recruiting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Experience with exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in a full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles.
