The human resources coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource functions and processes such as recruitment, on–boarding and maintaining employee records. as needed. This role includes record-keeping, processing payroll, file maintenance, and HRIS maintenance, and provides support in employee engagement activities.
- Prepare weekly wellness reports.
- Assisting in preparing /validating/reconciling payroll.
- Supports performance evaluation process.
- Assists in the review and update of safety procedures, SOP, Safety manuals, and safety walks.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Maintains Human Resources Information System records. Uploads employee documents to electronic files.
- Assists the Human Resources Manager in the recruitment process.
- Tracks the status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
- Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
- Assist with employee engagement activities in creating events.
- When required, will proceed to purchase the necessary items according to company activities.
- Responsible for ensuring that employee lunchrooms have the appropriate supplies daily.
- Reports on daily attendance.
- Ensures appropriate inventory of supplies are maintained and makes purchases upon approval.
- Onboarding, new employee orientation, and Offboarding.
- Sending communication to Global teams: Holiday, New Hire, Events, etc.
- Will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Degree in Human Resources preferred)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of HR experience.
- Must meet all ITAR compliance requirements
- Experience with OSHA and other Safety Standards preferred.
- Working knowledge of various aspects of Human Resources, including, but not limited to, employee benefits, payroll administration, employee relations, legal compliance, and regulations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR Information systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Enthusiastic, initiative-taking individuals with serious work ethics.
