The Position
We are seeking a Human Resources Recruiter/Specialist for our facility in Northridge to assist the HR Team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining recruitment strategies; screening out unqualified candidates, screening in qualified candidates through phone screenings and assessments; working in collaboration with hiring managers to track candidates throughout the full recruitment and hiring process in a highly efficient and organized manner; developing reports and supporting various functions within the Human Resources department. (Bilingual in English & Spanish *REQUIRED*)
What You’ll Do
- Develops creative and effective recruitment strategies and ideas to fill all open positions with high-quality candidates.
- Coordinates and attends various job fairs and conferences.
- Establishes relationships with hiring managers to ensure a professional and collaborative working relationship.
- Thoroughly reviews all job requisitions with the hiring manager and director for a clear understanding of their hiring needs and to facilitate the best possible candidates for that position.
- Establishes relationships with staffing agencies, reviews contracts, and negotiates a reasonable buyout. Coordinates the placement of all temporary staffing utilizing employment agencies.
- Completes exit interviews with departing employees and submits additional notes to all EMT, Director of Program, and Senior Director of HR for review.
- Collaborates to research, develop, and facilitate employee engagement and wellness activities/events, including challenges and staff mixers.
- Exports data from UKG to generate reports reflecting employment trends/recruitment in Excel for Senior Director of HR, EMT, SMT as needed.
- Partner with the HR team on daily operations and any other functions necessary to meet company goals.
- Provide periodic supervision training programs, including clinical supervision, for staff at Northridge and Palmdale sites.
- Monday – Friday: 8:00AM-5:00PM (On-site.)
- Non-Exempt Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00/year
- FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English *REQUIRED*
- Minimum 2+ years of HR and full-cycle recruitment experience.
- Must be highly organized with experience working effectively in developing and streamlining systems.
- Some direct human resources experience desired, (e.g. working knowledge of HR processes, compensation and benefits, job descriptions, etc.).
- MS Excel (pivot tables), MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to delegate, set goals, provide regular and timely performance feedback, hold supervisees accountable, and motivate others.
- Must be able to complete projects and reports in a timely fashion.
- Must continuously have a clean driving record in order to be insurable under the Center's automobile insurance policy.
- BA/BS Degree preferred.
