HR Business Partner - Talent Management

The Peabody Essex Museum is seeking a collaborative and strategic HR Business Partner - Talent Management to support a broad range of HR functions, with a primary focus on talent acquisition and employee relations. In this role, the HR Business Partner will coordinate recruitment and search processes from initial planning through candidate selection and offer coordination, while partnering with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, assess talent needs, and ensure a consistent and effective hiring experience. The HR Business Partner will also provide guidance and consultation on employee relations matters, performance management, workplace concerns, and HR policies, while supporting workforce planning, onboarding, retention, succession planning, and staff development initiatives.
Working closely with the HR team, the HRBP will contribute to compensation administration, annual salary increase processes, HR training and development, and the ongoing improvement of HR practices and procedures. The role also maintains accurate employee records and HRIS documentation, supports employee engagement initiatives, and helps ensure compliance with employment practices and regulations. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of HR experience with a recruitment background, brings strong HR knowledge, sound judgment, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and engaging workplace that reflects PEM’s Shared Agreements. The hiring range for this role is $54,927 to $65,000 commensurate with experience.
