About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Host Family Recruitment Manager to join our team in Florida and play a crucial role in managing and expanding our host family program. Our volunteer host families are an integral part of our program, providing a welcoming home for our international students. As a Host Family Placement Manager, you will report to the Regional Director and work collaboratively with the local team to develop and implement recruitment and marketing strategies.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to build relationships within the local communities, manage your own schedule, and gain visibility within a global organization. The ideal candidate is excited to use strong communication and persuasive skills to engage the local community and develop creative marketing and outreach strategies to recruit host families.

Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly goals through daily outreach via for example: phone, email, and social media to recruit new host homes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for host inquiries, providing excellent customer support.
  • Develop and execute host home recruitment strategies, including social media campaigns, referral programs, and community events.
  • Represent EF at local fairs, events, and promotional activities to expand awareness and recruit new hosts.
  • Visit prospective host homes to assess suitability and complete detailed home visit reports.
  • Ensure host homes receive all necessary information and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of host home recruitment metrics and statistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless homestay experience for both students and hosts (Peak summer)
  • Share emergency on-call duties with other staff as needed.

Organize and host appreciation events.
